This page explains how to delete a MemoCards account and the server-side data associated with it.
You can delete your account directly inside MemoCards or request deletion without having the app installed.
After a successful deletion, MemoCards removes your Firebase Authentication account and the MemoCards server-side account records associated with that Firebase account.
You can request account deletion by email:
Use the subject: MemoCards Account Deletion Request
Please include the Google email address that you used to sign in to MemoCards. If possible, send the request from that same email address.
We may request reasonable verification before processing the request to prevent unauthorized deletion of another person's account. Verified external requests will normally be processed within 30 days.
Deleting a MemoCards account does not cancel a Google Play subscription.
If Google Play reports that your subscription is still set to auto-renew, you must first manage or cancel the subscription through Google Play before MemoCards account deletion can be completed.
If auto-renewal has already been disabled, MemoCards may allow deletion even if a previously paid subscription period has not yet reached its original expiry date. Deleting the MemoCards account can end access to remaining account-linked paid functionality.
Account deletion removes:
user_limits server record, if present;user_stats server record, if present. When deletion is performed inside MemoCards, the app also clears local account-linked subscription, entitlement, purchase-cache, and AI-description/regeneration state.
Personal dictionaries and word lists that exist only locally on your device are intentionally preserved because they are not stored as MemoCards cloud-account data.
You can delete these dictionaries inside MemoCards or remove all local MemoCards data through Android application-storage settings.
If Android backup is enabled, some local MemoCards data may also exist in an Android or device-provider backup. These backups are controlled by the operating system or backup provider and cannot be directly erased through MemoCards Firebase account deletion.
Google Play transaction, payment, purchase, and subscription records are maintained by Google and are not erased by deleting your MemoCards account.
Service providers may also retain security, billing, legal, or backup records when required under their own policies or applicable law.
If you later sign in to MemoCards again using the same Google account, Firebase may create a new MemoCards account identity.
Previously deleted MemoCards server-side account data is not restored merely because you sign in again.
